About Guidance.help

Guidance.help is for anyone asking what kind of work would suit them: high school and college students, and people thinking about a change.

We start with a question most people can answer, which is what you enjoy, and connect it to real occupations. The site has three parts: a career test that runs in your browser, a library of occupations built on public data, and an assistant you can talk your result through with.

Guidance.help is operated by the Arrivau team.

What we are careful about

We describe tasks, skills and preparation. We leave out pay and job forecasts, because we do not have data we would stand behind. Career pages name their source, and the methodology page explains how the test works and where it falls short.

Nothing here is a promise of a job, a place on a course or a particular result. For decisions about health, law or immigration, speak to a qualified professional.
