Your test answers stay on your device.
The career test
Your answers are calculated in your browser. They are not uploaded and not saved, and they are gone when you close or reload the page. There is no account and no sign-up.
Result links
When your result appears, your six scores and your learning time choice are added to the address after a # sign. That part of an address is not sent to our servers. It holds no name or other identity details, and your individual answers cannot be read from it. Anyone you give the link to can see those scores.
The assistant
The result page can offer a Talk this through button. Pressing it opens the chat and sends a summary of your result to our chat service: your code, six scores, learning time choice and top five matches. Your individual answers are not included, and nothing reaches the chat unless you press that button or type a message yourself. Messages are processed so the assistant can reply, and they may be kept to run and improve the service, so please leave out anything sensitive.
Usage data
Like most websites, our hosting provider handles standard request data such as IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect the site. We may use aggregated traffic statistics to understand which pages are useful.
